Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Search help inclusion is a feature in the ABAP Dictionary of SAP that allows you to include a search help in a data element or table field. This feature allows you to define a list of valid values for the field, which can be used to restrict user input and ensure data integrity.

    How to use it:
To use search help inclusion, you must first create a search help in the ABAP Dictionary. Once the search help is created, you can then include it in a data element or table field. To do this, open the data element or table field in the ABAP Dictionary and select the “Include Search Help” option. You will then be able to select the search help you want to include.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a search help, make sure to include all possible valid values for the field. This will ensure that users are only able to enter valid values when entering data into the field. Additionally, make sure to test your search help before using it in production.
