  • Key Concepts:
User exits are a type of customer enhancement in SAP that allow users to modify the standard SAP program code to meet their specific business needs. They are used to add custom functionality to existing SAP programs without having to modify the original code. User exits are created by SAP developers and can be found in the BC-DWB-CEX Customer Enhancements component.

    How to use it:
To use a user exit, you must first identify the user exit you want to use. This can be done by searching for the user exit in the BC-DWB-CEX Customer Enhancements component. Once you have identified the user exit, you can then add your custom code to it. This code will then be executed when the program is run.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using user exits, it is important to remember that they are not intended to replace standard SAP functionality. Instead, they should be used to supplement existing functionality and provide additional features that are not available in the standard SAP program. Additionally, it is important to ensure that your custom code does not conflict with any existing SAP code or cause any errors in the system.
