  • Description: A view of fields in one or more tables with a common interface. Views are created by business criteria, i.e. a view contains the table fields which are relevant for the setting of a business subfunction. The data in a view is not physically saved in the database, it is derived from one or more tables. Views are created in the Generate Table Maintenance Dialog SE54 and are edited in the Extended Table Maintenance SM30.
