Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Merge relation is a feature of the SAP Change & Transport System (CTS) that allows you to combine two or more transport requests into one. This feature is useful when you need to transport multiple objects at once, such as when you are transporting a large number of objects or when you need to transport objects from different systems.

    How to use it:
To use the merge relation feature, you must first create two or more transport requests. Then, select the requests that you want to merge and click on the “Merge” button. This will create a new transport request that contains all of the objects from the original requests.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using the merge relation feature, it is important to make sure that all of the objects in the original requests are compatible with each other. If there are any conflicts between the objects, they will not be merged and will remain in their original transport requests.

    Related Information:
For more information about the merge relation feature, please refer to SAP’s official documentation on the Change & Transport System (CTS).
