• Description: The source version of the discard merge is discarded in favor of the target version. This type of relation is created when there is a conflict between two closed versions for example, two integrates brought conflicting versions of a file and the conflict is resolved not by merging, but by picking one of these versions.

  Discard Merge is a feature of the SAP Change and Transport System (CTS) that allows you to discard changes made to an object in a transport request. This feature is useful when you need to undo changes made to an object in a transport request without having to delete the entire transport request. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To use Discard Merge, you must first select the transport request that contains the changes you want to discard. Then, select the object that contains the changes you want to discard and click on the Discard Merge button. This will discard all changes made to the object in the selected transport request. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When using Discard Merge, it is important to remember that it only discards changes made to an object in a transport request. It does not delete the entire transport request or any other objects in the transport request.
