  • Key Concepts:
A compartment is a logical container in the SAP Change and Transport System (CTS) that stores objects related to a particular project or task. Compartments are used to organize and manage objects in the CTS, and can be used to transport objects between different SAP systems.

    How to use it:
To create a compartment, go to the CTS menu in the SAP system and select “Create Compartment”. Enter a name for the compartment and select the type of objects that will be stored in it. Once created, objects can be added to the compartment by selecting “Add Objects” from the CTS menu.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating compartments, it is important to give them descriptive names that will make them easy to identify later on. It is also important to ensure that only objects related to the same project or task are stored in the same compartment.
