  • Key Concepts:
Exit Soft is a feature of the BC-CST-IC Internet Communication Manager (ICM) component of SAP. It allows users to terminate a connection to an external system without having to close the entire ICM. This feature is useful for applications that require frequent communication with external systems, as it allows users to quickly and easily disconnect from the external system without having to close the entire ICM.

    How to use it:
To use Exit Soft, users must first open the ICM component in SAP. Once the ICM is open, users can select the “Exit Soft” option from the menu. This will terminate the connection to the external system without having to close the entire ICM.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using Exit Soft, it is important to remember that any changes made while connected to an external system will not be saved unless they are explicitly saved before exiting.
