  • Key Concepts:
Quota is a feature of SAP Cloud Platform (BC-CP) that allows users to set limits on the amount of resources they can use. This helps to ensure that users do not exceed their allocated resources and helps to keep costs down. Quotas can be set for different types of resources, such as CPU, memory, storage, and network bandwidth.

    How to use it:
To set a quota for a particular resource, users must first log into the SAP Cloud Platform (BC-CP) console. From there, they can select the “Quotas” tab and then select the resource they wish to set a limit for. They can then enter the desired limit and click “Save” to apply the quota.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to remember that quotas are not absolute limits; they are only enforced when the resource usage exceeds the quota limit. Therefore, it is important to set realistic quotas that will not be exceeded too often. Additionally, it is important to monitor resource usage regularly in order to ensure that quotas are being enforced correctly.
