What is deprecated APIs in SAP BC-CP - SAP Cloud Platform?


SAP Term: deprecated APIs

  • Component Name: SAP Cloud Platform

  • Description: APIs that are live on the SAP API Business Hub and can be used productively but are superseded by their active versions. The deprecated status is displayed on the SAP API Business Hub, and support is provided for a period of 12 months after the deprecation announcement.

    Deprecated APIs are Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that have been removed from the SAP Cloud Platform (BC-CP). They are no longer supported and should not be used in new development projects.
    
    How to use it: 
    Deprecated APIs should not be used in any new development projects. If you are using a deprecated API, you should migrate to a supported API as soon as possible.
