  • Description: A Unicode Reference Device Type URDT can be used to print SAPscript or SAP Smartforms documents and ABAPLists which contain characters or symbols from different scripts - regardless of whether the physical printer supports the scripts or not. This is valid for all PCL5 and Postscript printer models. From a technical point of view, a URDT is a device type. However, it can only be used in combination with a 'normal' device type. SAP delivers a number of URDTs that contain the fonts which support the most important scripts like Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Cyrillic, etc...
