  • Key Concepts:
RFC profile is a component of the BC-CCM-MON Monitoring module in SAP. It is used to define the communication parameters for remote function calls (RFCs) between SAP systems. It contains information such as the target system name, user name, and password.

    How to use it:
To use an RFC profile, you must first create it in the SAP system. This can be done by going to transaction code SM59 and selecting “Create RFC Destination” from the menu. You will then be prompted to enter the necessary information such as the target system name, user name, and password. Once you have entered all of the required information, you can save the RFC profile and use it for remote function calls.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating an RFC profile, make sure to use a secure password that is difficult to guess. Additionally, it is important to keep your RFC profiles up-to-date with any changes in the target system or user credentials.
