Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
RFC (Remote Function Call) is a protocol used to enable communication between two SAP systems or between an SAP system and a non-SAP system. An RFC session is a connection established between two systems using the RFC protocol. The RFC session allows the two systems to exchange data and execute functions.

    How to use it:
In order to establish an RFC session, the two systems must be configured to communicate with each other. This is done by setting up an RFC destination in the SAP system. Once the RFC destination is set up, the two systems can establish an RFC session and exchange data and execute functions.

    Tips & Tricks:
When setting up an RFC destination, it is important to ensure that the correct user credentials are used. This will ensure that the connection is secure and that only authorized users can access the data.
