  • Key Concepts:
A functional method call is a type of remote procedure call (RPC) used in the ABAP runtime environment of SAP. It allows a program to call a function module in another program, and receive the results of the function module. The function module can be located in the same system or in a different system.

    How to use it:
Functional method calls are used to access functions from other programs. To make a functional method call, you must first define the parameters for the function module you want to call. Then, you can use the CALL FUNCTION statement to execute the function module. The results of the function module will be returned to your program.

    Tips & Tricks:
When making a functional method call, it is important to ensure that all parameters are correctly defined. If any parameters are not defined correctly, the function module may not execute properly and may return incorrect results.
