Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
An anchor is a feature in SAP ByDesign Studio that allows users to attach an object to a specific point on the screen. This allows the object to remain in the same position regardless of the size of the window or other objects that may be moved around it. Anchors are used to keep objects in place and make sure they are always visible.

    How to use it:
To use anchors, select the object you want to anchor and then click on the anchor icon in the toolbar. This will open a dialog box where you can select which point on the screen you want to anchor the object to. Once you have selected a point, click “OK” and the object will be anchored to that point.

    Tips & Tricks:
When anchoring an object, make sure that it is not too close to other objects or it may be difficult to see. Also, if you need to move an anchored object, make sure to unanchor it first before moving it.

    Related Information:
Anchors are also used in other SAP products such as SAP BusinessObjects and SAP HANA. For more information on how to use anchors in these products, please refer to their respective documentation.
