  Material Template is a feature in the SAP Product Data Maintenance (AP-PRD FND) component that allows users to create and store templates for materials. This feature enables users to quickly create multiple materials with the same characteristics, such as material type, unit of measure, and other attributes. The templates can be used to create new materials or to update existing materials. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To use the Material Template feature, users must first create a template. This can be done by selecting the “Create Template” option from the Material Template menu. Once the template is created, users can then select the “Create Material” option from the same menu to create a new material based on the template. To update an existing material, users can select the “Update Material” option from the same menu and select the material they wish to update.

  When creating a template, it is important to ensure that all of the necessary attributes are included in order for it to be useful when creating or updating materials. Additionally, it is important to remember that templates can be edited at any time if changes need to be made.
