• Description: A characteristic value assignment that you can specify for the variants of a structure node, in order to define how the material for that variant is configured. &EXAMPLE& In a multilevel structure, the characteristic value assigment X from the access variant A is valuated first during the explosion. If there is a characteristic value assignment Z at a variant B in the lower-level structure, then this characteristic value assignment is valuated for the variant B, and not the characteristic value assignment X from the access variant A. For all other levels of the structure, the characteristic value assignment Z is valuated.
