  Segment is a component of the Organisational Management (OM) module in SAP. It is used to define the organisational structure of a company, such as its departments, divisions, and other organisational units. It is also used to assign roles and responsibilities to different organisational units. 
  
  How to use it: 
  In order to use Segment, you must first create a Segment Type. This is done by entering the relevant information into the Segment Type table. Once the Segment Type has been created, you can then create a Segment by entering the relevant information into the Segment table. You can then assign roles and responsibilities to each Segment. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When creating a Segment Type, make sure that you enter all of the relevant information accurately. This will ensure that your Segments are properly defined and that roles and responsibilities are assigned correctly.
