  • Key Concepts:
A decommission tag is a type of tag used in SAP AIE Auto-ID Enterprise (AIE) to identify and track assets that have been decommissioned. This tag is used to mark an asset as no longer in use, and it can be used to prevent the asset from being used in any future transactions.

    How to use it:
To use a decommission tag, first create the tag in the AIE system. Then, attach the tag to the asset that needs to be decommissioned. Once the tag is attached, the asset will be marked as decommissioned and will no longer be available for use in any transactions.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a decommission tag, make sure to include all relevant information about the asset being decommissioned. This will help ensure that the asset is properly tracked and can be easily identified if needed in the future.

    Related Information:
Decommission tags are just one of many types of tags available in SAP AIE Auto-ID Enterprise. Other types of tags include inventory tags, location tags, and tracking tags. Each type of tag has its own purpose and can be used to track different types of assets.
