change or the change would have resulted in an inconsistent status in
the folder hierarchy.

This depends on the attribute in the error message:
Attribute <ZH>Folder area</>:
You tried to change a client folder to a group folder. This is not
possible as one of the subordinate folders is a client folder.
Make sure that all folders below this folder are group folders and then
make the change.
