for the quotation of the exchange rate.
Your system is set so that it accepts the following entries for "N":
"&V3&": The exchange rate has direct quotation.
(One unit of the foreign currency equals the number of units of the
local currency that you enter.)
"&V4&": The exchange rate has indirect quotation.
(One unit of your local currency equals the number of units of the
foreign currency that you enter.)
"9" stands for numbers (0-9), "." and "," stand for themselves and are
the decimal and thousand delimiters. You do not need to enter ",". You
need to enter "." only if the exchange rate has decimal places.
