Two InfoObjects or attributes can only be linked if they reference the
same basic characteristic or have the same technical properties (data
type, internal length, and number of decimal places).
When you edit an append for an InfoSet, additional restrictions apply.
Only the following objects can be linked with each other:
Objects that belong to the same append
Objects of the append with the main object
Objects of the append with objects from a hierarchically higher level
