To enable conversion of characters from a multibyte code page into a
Unicode code page, the contents of the language field of the extraction
structure in a source system with a multibyte code page will be put into
language key of the RFC container. The RFC interface then uses the
language information for conversion of characters into the
Unicode code page.
If the extraction structure has no language field, the language &V2&
is the logon language of the remote user in the source system .
If the extraction structure has no language field, the language &V2&
is the content of the language field. If the language field is empty,
the language is the logon language of the remote user in the source.

The language field in the extraction structure is the field of type LANG
. If there are multiple fields of this type, it is the field with the
