The specification of a reference exception is designed to avoid
inconsistencies in the selection list. Inconsistencies can occur when
no clear reference to an information structure or no clear
characteristic reference exists due to the already assigned
exceptions.
With the specification of a reference exception the selection list can
be limited to exceptions of an information structure and possibly, if
characteristics are assigned to the reference-exception, to exceptions
with the same characteristic reference. In the latter case,
inconsistencies of the selection list are excluded.

Réponse du système

The exception &V1& has neither characteristics nor key figures and thus
no reference to an information structure. Since this exception does not
contribute to restricting the selection list, its input is not
meaningful and thereby not possible.
