Quelle est la cause de ce problème?

You have tried to create a new variant &V2& for generic material &V1&.
In doing so, the characteristic value for the variant-creating
characteristics is already used by variant &V3&.
Variant &V3& may be a variant that already exists in the database.
Variants &V2& and &V3& could be new variants that have the same
characteristic valuation.

Processing had to be cancelled as it could have lead to inconsistencies
in the classification data for the variants.

Comment corriger cette erreur?

Check the data that has been transferred and select a combination of
characteristics that has not yet been used to create the new variants.
The characteristics combinations that have already been assigned for
the existing generic article can be displayed in the basic data view in
article master data maintenance (transaction MM43) using the 'Variants'
function.
If multiple variants are created at the same time, a different
characteristic variation for the variant-creating characteristics has
to be used for each variant.
