You are trying to define a line segment as a sort buffer. The number of
takts, which will define the length of the actual production line, is
maintained above the selected line segment.
Sort buffers can only be defined if the number of takts is not to be
maintained at a higher level than the level at which you want to define
the sort buffer. This restriction means that the location of the sort
buffer on the production line can be determined.
