When a material is changed, the <GL:variant_configuration>configuration
data</> of the object (= equipment or serial number) remains unchanged.

Check whether the configuration of the object is compatible with the
characteristics of the material; it is possible that inconsistencies
arise between the configuration characteristics of the material and
those of the object because, for example, a configured material
(variant) was used.
