mid-year start or end date although the Customizing settings specify
that the original budget is changed in yearly slices (V_T100C, work area
HRFPMCUSTOM).

Maintain the original budget with a start date of January 1 and an end
date of December 31. The original budget can comprise one or more years.
You can change the current budget mid-year using budget updates and
transfers.
