In the composition of a basic or a surface material, &v1&% of the
substances are marked as confidential or are replaced by jokers or
wildcards instead of a specific substance.
According to the IMDS recommendations, the total amount of confidential
and unspecified substances in a composition of basic or surface
materials is restricted to 10%.
Note:
Substances that are <ZH>not</> marked as confident are visible for the
recipients of the MDS.
In the IMDS, only a limited number of substances is marked with
wildcards or jokers. These substances contain as identifier <AB>NUM/CAS
</><LB>System</> and as identifier <AB>NAM/PURE </><LB>Miscellaneous</>
or <LB>Not yet defined</>.

You have the following options:
Reduce the number of substances that are of substance type <LS>CONFIDENT
</>
Replace substances, which are used as jokers or wildcards (which have
identifiers that mark these substances as unspecified) by pure
substances with a valid CAS number.

You can change the component type, which marks substances as
confidential, in environment parameter <AB>DB_COMP_TYPE_CONFIDENTIAL
</>in the Customizing activity <LS>Specify Environment Parameters for
Back-End Processes</> under <LS>Product Safety and Stewardship ->
Product Compliance for Discrete Industries -> General Configuration ->
Environment Parameters</>.
