the periodicity of the usage billing plan. The end of a pool linkage
must be identical to the end of the service billing period.

The end of the linkage date must be identical to the end of a service
period
Example:
Billing period for service: 01/01/2003-01/31/2003, 02/01/2003-02/28/2003
, and so on.
You have to terminate the pool linkage on February 28, 2003 (or the last
day of another month) for the billing period to remain synchronous.
