This error may have appeared due to one of the following reasons:
In the input structure, values are entered for both
<AB>Parent_Variant_GUID</> and <AB>Parent_Variant_External_ID</>
Generic document key of the parent variant and the child variant do not
match
Entered input for <AB>Parent_Variant_External_ID</> does not match any
of the values of <AB>Variant_External_ID</> in the input structure or in
the database
Entered <AB>Parent_Variant_GUID</> do not exist
Unable to map the Parent_Variant_External_ID to the correct variant as
it has multiple variants with the same
<AB> Variant_External_ID</> in the database

Perform one of the following to resolve the error:
Input either <AB>Parent_Variant_GUID</> or
<AB>Parent_Variant_External_ID; </>do not enter values for both
Enter the generic document key for the parent variant same as that of
the child variant
Enter input for <AB>Parent_Variant_External_ID </>which match at least
one of the values of <AB>Variant_External_ID</> in the input structure
or in the database
Enter a valid <AB>Parent_Variant_GUID</>
