If possible, do not use any fields to enter the general object number.
Please note that the representation used for input of the object number
differs from the output representation. This means that you can check
your input only to a limited extent.
For example, the entry 'OR000000123456' is converted to the output 'AUF
123456'. The entry 'OR000123456' is converted to the same output.
The entry 'AUF 123456' would be converted to 'AU F 123456'. This does
not make any sense.

If the current application has been developed in your company, you
should use a field with another domain (for example, J_OBJNR) to enter
the object number. If this is not possible, you can use the function
module OBJECT_NUMBER_CONVERSION_SET to deactivate output conversion. In
this case the internal and external representation is identical. The
entry 'OR000000123456' will then be output as 'OR000000123456'.
