There are various possible causes:
In Customizing, the "packaging material category" field in the
packaging material type is wrongly defined. Only 'B' or 'D' are allowed
for auxiliary packaging material.
In the material master for the auxiliary packaging material, the
'Material grouped packaging material' or 'Packaging material type' has
been incorrectly maintained or not maintained at all.
In Customizing, the view "Allowed packaging material categories
material grouped packaging material" has been incorrectly maintained or
not maintained at all.
