¿Qué causa este problema?

You are trying to assign an HU with different material items to a
shipment. There are either several materials or several different stock
categories for one material in the handling unit. The system cannot
process such a handling unit.
Exception: Handling Units with batches have several material items and
can still be processed.

¿Cómo arreglar este error?

Remove the handling unit from the list of HUs that are to be assigend
to the shipment. Then, change the handling unit so that it only
contains one material item.
