You are using a figure of the type 'floating-point number' (type
float). The system first tries to interpret the entry as a decimal
number, in order to check the number of decimal places allowed. If this
entry cannot be interpreted as a decimal number, then with key figures
of the internal type float, the system tries to interpret the entry as
a floating-point number. This is not possible with "&V1&".

Enter a decimal number or a valid format for floating-point numbers.
The following formats are allowed:
Decimal number with or without +/- signs, with or without decimal
numbers.
<Mantissa>E<Exponent>, where the mantissa is a decimal number and the
exponent can be entered with or without +/- signs.
Blank characters are allowed before or after the number.
