Specific applications require free name ranges for creating objects
automatically (generating functions). This means that the following can
be avoided for each object to be created:
Searching for a free name
The user having to ask for permission to use this name
When a namespace reservation is created in your namespace, you are
asked whether you agree with the name range shown being locked. If you
confirm the reservation, the name range is no longer freely available
for your developments, but can only be used by the specified
application. This has the following advantages for you:
You can always recognize the objects generated by the specified
application by their name.
Your work process is not interrupted repeatedly by queries of
individual object names.
A subsequent change to this reservation cannot be made without
disruptive effects on the reserving application. Therefore contact your
system or development administrator if you are not sure whether you
should confirm the reservation prompt.
