is not a character field. This is not possible due to cross-system
reasons.
The internal data type of the field is: "&V2&"
The following mean:
"F" floating-point number
"I" integer
"P" packed number
"X" hexadecimal
The field has the Dictionay data type: "&V3&"
The following mean:
"FLTP" floating-point number with a precision of 8 bytes
"INT4" 4 bytes integer, signed decimal number
"RAW " uninterpreted sequence of bytes
