¿Qué causa este problema?

In BW 3.x, it was possible to split variable names when the typed length
of the characteristic was too short for the variable name. Since this
restriction no longer exists with analysis authorizations, split
variable names are merged again when an analysis authorization is saved.
Example:
In BW 3.x, you created authorizations that had type CHAR 2 (two letters)
for a characteristic. You want to enter a variable with the name ABC,
before which a dollar sign ($) is to be added. Therefore, the character
string $ABC needs to be stored. This can be done by entering '$A' as the
from-value and 'BC' as the to-value.
This can still occur as a result of migration, generation, or the manual
procedure in analysis authorizations.
