You entered more decimal places for the measured value than the
inspection characteristic requires.

If an error message is given, you must reduce the number of decimal
places.
If a warning or an information message is given, the value is copied in
full length after entry confirmation and issued with the planned number
of decimal places.
If more decimal places are entered than are required in the inspection
characteristic, rounding errors can occur in the display.
