¿Qué causa este problema?

You wanted to restrict the characteristics of a number of materials.
This is possible only for a single generic material.
Alternatively, you can enter a material group for which, if necessary,
you can restrict the characteristics so that the restriction of
characteristics is effective for several materials. This ensures that
all of the materials selected have the same characteristic assignment
to allow global restriction.
