You wish to replace the existing MPN material &V1& by a different MPN
material.
This is not possible because the

defined in Customizing for Purchasing does not allow substitution of
the MPN material in this way.

This is also not possible if the new MPN material belongs to the same
inventory-managed material &V2& as the existing MPN material.
