¿Qué causa este problema?

Characteristic value restrictions were not created at the level of the
generic article for the new variant even though for the conversion of a
single article into a variant, the creation of characteristic value
restrictions is requested by default.
The reason for this is that the generic article already has variants,
but characteristic value restrictions do not exist for these variants.
Characteristic value restrictions are not created to prevent the
existing variants from later being classified as inconsistent in article
maintenance (transaction
<DS:TRAN.MM42>Change Article</>) because these variants use
characteristic values that are not defined as valid values at generic
article level.

If you want to use characteristic value restrictions for this generic
article, in article maintenance, you must add characteristic value
restrictions for generic article &V1&. These characteristic value
restrictions must contain at least all characteristic values that the
existing variants use; otherwise, inconsistencies can occur and it will
not be possible to save the defined characteristic value restrictions.
