Use the function <LS>Display bill of materials</> to check whether a BOM
exists for the material in the plant.

If a BOM exists for the material, the alternative determination for your
application ID may have been defined in a way that the system does not
try to find a BOM in the area of use defined for the material.

Procedure to be used by the system administrator
In the Customizing system of the production master data, check the
following alternative-determination functions for the specified
application ID:
Application-specific criteria -> <DS:TRAN.OS30>Proceed</>
Priorities of BOM use -> <DS:TRAN.OS31>Proceed</>
Material-specific alternative selection -> <DS:TRAN.OS32>Proceed</>
