Using this function, you can maintain all the variables created on the
'Characteristic Values' screen which are specified by the user. You can
define whether the variables should have mandatory or optional entries.
There are situations where some of the variables defined in the report
cannot be maintained. Characteristics which can be used in connection
with compound characteristics cannot, for example, have optional
entries in certain situations.
In addition, only locally created variables can be maintained.
This report does not contain any variables of this type.
