You have defined the characteristic "Profit center" or "Partner profit
center" in the current planning layout.
You therefore need to specify a controlling area in the general data
selection, so that the profit center can be checked for validity in
planning.
You can only enter a fixed value or a variable with mandatory
replacement for the controlling area.

If you want to plan profit centers, specify a controlling area.
