A counter that runs backwards has a highest possible reading of
<LB>999</>.
When it reaches <LB>0</>, the first <GL:counter_reading>counter
reading</> that it can no longer represent is the value <LB>1000</>.
Enter this value as the counter overflow reading in the appropriate
field.
