The service modules used as a basis often return more than one error
message. Often, one error message describes the cause and all other
error messages are follow-on errors. The error message for the cause is
not marked in any particular way. The cockpit can only accept one error
message. Sometimes the error message in the cockpit might not be the
error message for the cause but one of the error messages for the
follow-on errors.
