The pay scale type or pay scale area &V2& for country grouping &V1& is
only valid starting from &V3&. However, the start date &V4& of the
infotype is before this.

You have two options:
Delimit the infotype so that it starts only on &V3& and the pay scale
type or pay scale area &V2& is entered. Choose a different pay scale
type or pay scale area in the previous period.
Change the validity periods for the pay scale type or pay scale area in
Customizing (see below).

follows:
For the pay scale type, in view V_T510A_DELIMIT (Customizing activity

For the pay scale area, in view V_T510G_DELIMIT (Customizing activity
<DS:SIMG.OHIX0263A>Specify Validity Period for Pay Scale Areas</>).
