The breakdown category of this item determines that a subassignment by

However, the translation function could not determine a value for
characteristic &V2&.

General procedure used for determining the value:
In the translation entry the indicator 'use account assignment as
default' is not set for characteristic &V2&:
The value for characteristic &V2& is determined via the translation
entry and transferred directly.
In the translation entry the indicator 'use account assignment as
default' is set for characteristic &V2&:
If the percentage to be calculated under consideration of the
characteristic dependencies has a valid and not initial value for
characteristic &V2&, this value is transferred.
If not then it is checked whether a general default value was for
characteristic &V2&, if applicable this is then transferred.
