The DataStore concept in BW 3.0 is different to how it was in BW 2.0.
'Most-recent' reporting on conventional DataStore objects is no longer
possible.

In BW 3.0 there is a new kind of DataStore object called a transactional
DataStore object. Changes made to this kind of DataStore object are
visible immediately in reporting. Make sure that you are able to use
this new type of DataStore object in your application.
Also new to BW 3.0 is the concept of the virtual InfoProvider. It
enables you to use your own data sources to supply queries.
