The group is not deleted during archiving.

You can delete the group by:
Carrying out one of the following:
Delete all assignments between task lists in the group and maintenance
items.
Delete all maintenance items that you have assigned task lists of this
group to.
Repeat the archiving session for the group.
RESET N1
